Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a senior leadership role in our Wealth business, driving growth and expansion of our wealth propositions.

You will lead a team of professionals with deep expertise, developing their careers, and supporting a strong culture of collaboration. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in superannuation and insurance propositions, with experience in managing complex issues and incident rectification or remediation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Optimize the profit and loss (P&L) of the Wealth business, growing customers and revenues sustainably, and delivering strong wealth propositions that customers love.
  • Develop and implement the Wealth acquisition and channel strategy, working closely with external partners and internal stakeholders to develop product journeys to acquire new customers and cross-sell to existing customers.
  • Ensure legislative compliance, risk frameworks, and conduct align with regulator and community expectations.
  • Take on a responsible manager role on ING's Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) across the Superannuation business.
  • Lead agile delivery of continuous improvement initiatives across systems and processes, with a strong understanding of customer-centred design methods.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in superannuation and insurance propositions (7-10+ years) and meets responsible manager requirements for AFSL in Wealth products, including ASIC's RG105 requirements.
  • Tertiary qualifications at Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Business, Commerce, or relevant university degree, or specific industry qualification relating to Wealth products.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience over the last 5 years within a Wealth-related role.
  • Tier 1 RG146 accreditation.
  • Experience articulating strategy, setting strategic direction, managing complex issues, and incident rectification or remediation initiatives.
  • Excellent understanding of Compliance and Regulatory environment relating to Wealth products and AFSL.
  • Analytical mindset, using data to drive decision-making.
  • Exceptional people leadership capability, building strong and engaged teams, driven by purpose and passion for customers.
  • Experience managing 3rd party/supplier relationships and optimising value and customer outcomes through an extended value chain.
