Job Purpose:

To analyze and improve existing electrical production processes, design and introduce new electrical production processes, and provide specialist role-specific and electrical maintenance and production support to the production team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive automation systems with the design, testing, commissioning, and support of electrical systems and new processes.
  • Experienced in SCADA systems.
  • Troubleshoot problems with electrical equipment/manufacturing systems, including PLC programming and diagnostics.
  • Lead manufacturing lines automation projects with a focus on end-to-end automation, including AGVs.
  • Assist Automation Systems Engineer with the design, testing, commissioning, and support of electrical systems and new processes.
  • Troubleshoot problems with electrical equipment/manufacturing systems.
  • Monitor and recommend adjustments to production processes or equipment for quality and efficiency in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Prepare documentation such as user instructions and wiring diagrams using CAD software.
  • Research required electrical components and report findings.
  • Inspect completed electrical installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
  • Plan and implement research methodology and procedures to apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects.
  • Prepare and study technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, and factory floor plans to ensure that electrical equipment installation and operation conform to standards and operational requirements.
