
Chief Spatial Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking Senior Spatial Surveyor to lead complex survey and spatial projects.
This role offers the opportunity to deliver technically advanced solutions across the built environment, while mentoring future talent and driving innovation in how spatial data is captured, processed, and delivered.
Your Role and ImpactAs a senior member of our team, you'll contribute to our mission to foster industry leaders in Geospatial data acquisition and Data Enablement.
Key Responsibilities- Project Execution – Lead survey projects from data acquisition through to processing and delivery, ensuring technical accuracy, data quality, and alignment with client needs.
- Technical Expertise – Manage and extract value from high-density point clouds, develop 3D models, and integrate deliverables into BIM and spatial workflows.
- Workflow Leadership – Champion best practices in data capture, QA, and processing, while supporting the evolution of tools, methods, and technology platforms.
- Client Focus – Work alongside Project Managers and Team Leaders to ensure solutions are commercially sound, technically excellent, and tailored to client objectives.
- Collaboration & Mentorship – Contribute to team capability through training, guidance, and collaboration with Surveyors, Digital Engineers, and junior spatial staff.
- Demonstrated experience delivering spatial and 3D survey projects within complex built environments.
- Advanced technical knowledge in point cloud capture, processing, and modelling using a variety of hardware and software applications.
- Experience delivering projects in line with government or local authority specifications.
- A collaborative approach to working with a larger team and a variety of stakeholders.
- A leadership mindset focused on quality outcomes, continuous learning, and supporting team growth.
- Tertiary qualifications in Surveying, Spatial Science, or a related field.
