**Role requirements**:

- Knowledge of the ArcGIS platform is desired, and complimentary understandings of python, Jira, HTML would be beneficial (or the demonstrated ability to acquire these skills are required).
- While not mandatory, any relevant qualifications and memberships in information management and/or geospatial information would be highly regarded.

**Key Duties and Accountabilities**:

- Provide specialist technical skills for spatial web services, databases, software and tools across spatial data management and visualisation environments.
- Knowledge of current and emerging spatial technologies and ability to provide management with recommendations on implementation or changes to activities and procedures required.
- Contribute to the creation of innovative solutions and efficient processes to improve the data management and the delivery of associated products and services.
- Prepare written and verbal reports and options for stakeholders regarding projects relating to spatial information products and services.
- Ensure documentation of spatial solutions including configuration, procedures, and user guides are developed and maintained.
- Coordinate with other staff within the department and Queensland Government to ensure effective use of spatial technologies.
- Work independently and/or within a team environment, interacting with staff and/or contractors to ensure that project objectives are completed in a timely, appropriate, and effective manner. - Other duties as directed and required.
