Your contribution
- Work with your team on the operational delivery of land supply and development monitoring analysis, including spatial analysis and the management of spatial data that supports regional planning and investment decisions.
- Help operate spatial processes, integrated data systems and land supply modelling functions.
- Support key aspects of the review, preparation and delivery of statutory regional plans, including the review of ShapingSEQ and Far North Queensland Regional Plan, as part of the Queensland Government's Regional Growth Framework.
- Undertake, with your broader team, the research and analysis and interpret multifaceted issues in relation to strategic planning and growth initiatives in partnership with various State agencies and local governments.
- Operate as part of a multi-disciplinary (planning, data analytics, spatial, land economics etc) team that is flexible to change and manages multi-disciplinary projects and actively contribute to fostering a positive project team environment and culture.
- Provide detailed advice and support to senior management and to internal and external stakeholders where appropriate.
- Support the department at industry/stakeholders events in an effective and professional manner.
- Initiate and prepare well researched correspondence, briefings and cabinet documentation.
