Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of People to join our Senior Leadership Team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering overall governance of the HR practice and providing day-to-day support and guidance to line managers regarding employment legislation and Human Resources best practice.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and management to the People Experience Team, ensuring effective and business-focused People Experience services to build capability within our people leaders.
- Manage and govern People systems, policy, and procedure application, including HRIS (Rippling) and Onboarding (emborder).
- Provide specialist advice, guidance, and support regarding current industrial Award provisions, legislative matters, and change management processes.
- Manage multiple relationships with providers and government bodies, including EOR, Workcover, and employee benefit providers.
- Lead the development and implementation of People Experience related plans, policies, strategies, and key projects to support our company culture pillars.
- Tertiary qualifications in human resources (or equivalent) with at least seven years of relevant experience delivering human resources solutions, 2+ years of this spent in a management capacity.
- Up-to-date working knowledge of Fair Work legislation and relevant legislation.
- Proven track record of creating, delivering, and exceeding expectations in projects orientated around transformation in the people-centric function.
- Demonstrated experience in handling complex employee issues and providing solutions in line with employment laws and organisational policies.
