We're seeking an experienced Head of People to join our Senior Leadership Team and lead our People Experience function.
As Head of People, you'll be responsible for delivering overall governance of the HR practice, providing day-to-day support and guidance to line managers, and driving business-focused People Experience services.
You'll lead a team of 2 People Coordinators, manage our HR systems, and develop and implement People Experience-related plans, policies, and strategies.
You'll also be responsible for managing multiple relationships with providers and government bodies, including EOR, Workcover, and employee benefit providers.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the People Experience function and deliver business-focused services
- Manage a team of 2 People Coordinators
- Develop and implement People Experience-related plans, policies, and strategies
- Manage HR systems, including HRIS and Onboarding
- Provide specialist advice and guidance on employment legislation and HR best practice
- Manage multiple relationships with providers and government bodies
We're looking for someone with:
- Tertiary qualifications in human resources or equivalent
- At least 7 years of relevant experience delivering human resources solutions, with 2+ years in a management capacity
- Up-to-date working knowledge of Fair Work legislation and relevant legislation
- Proven track record of creating, delivering, and exceeding expectations in projects oriented around transformation in the people-centric function
- Demonstrated experience in handling complex employee issues and providing solutions in line with employment laws and organizational policies
- Ability to collaborate effectively with staff at all levels of an organization to achieve and deliver results
