Job Title: Fleet Operations Coordinator
This role plays a crucial part in the daily operations of our depot. You will be responsible for coordinating and directing our heavy ridge fleet, escalating issues as they occur, and serving as the main point of contact for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the local Ridge fleet to ensure smooth coordination.
- Schedule and monitor fleet movements to guarantee safe, reliable, and cost-effective freight distribution.
- Support loading and unloading activities alongside the team to maintain workflow and timelines.
- Perform administrative tasks, including handling operational errors and discrepancies.
- Ensure clear communication and timely responses to customer inquiries.
- Implement operational improvements to boost efficiency and productivity.
- Maintain exceptional customer service standards across all touchpoints.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar position (transport and logistics experience is desired).
- Familiarity with TMS Systems (desired).
- Understanding of tracking and processing systems, scheduling, and record-keeping.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential.
