About the Job:

The Energy Development Manager will drive strategic growth and expansion across critical sectors. Key responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Planning: Lead development and communication of growth initiatives ensuring alignment with business objectives and presenting priorities to senior leadership and the Board.
  • Portfolio Management: Oversee creation and expansion of key commercial projects particularly in energy storage and renewables helping to build a sustainable project portfolio.
  • Growth Initiatives: Play a pivotal role in development and execution of large-scale infrastructure and energy projects assisting in securing major milestones and driving projects to completion.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities for growth including partnerships, joint ventures, and M&A opportunities particularly within the energy sector.
  • Partnerships Management: Establish and maintain strategic relationships with external partners and stakeholders ensuring alignment and driving collaboration on key business opportunities.
  • Process Optimization: Develop and implement processes to enhance operational efficiency ensuring effective management of project pipelines, internal reporting, and stakeholder communication.
  • Innovation Initiatives: Co-lead development and execution of innovation strategies partnering with external organizations and startups to drive adoption of new technologies and solutions fostering business growth.

About You

You have a proven track record in Corporate Development Deals or Investment Management ideally with experience in energy infrastructure or renewable energy projects. You bring strong expertise in strategic planning, business development, and market analysis along with a results-driven approach to identifying and executing new opportunities.

You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills enabling you to influence decision-making, build relationships, and collaborate with a wide range of internal and external partners.
