Electromechanical Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Electromechanical Specialist to join our team. As an Electromechanical Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, as well as troubleshooting and testing mechanical equipment.
About the Role
The successful candidate will have strong technical skills and knowledge of electro-mechanical equipment. They will also have excellent problem-solving abilities and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Main Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, including logging unit and logging truck equipment.
- Troubleshoot and test mechanical equipment for wireline services.
- Operate, inspect, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Perform complex and difficult tests with minimal instruction and documentation.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC).
- Identify and communicate technical problems using logical troubleshooting techniques.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Australian Electrical License with full working rights in Australia.Knowledge of electrical motors, transformers, switchgear, generators, and other electro-mechanical equipment.Diploma in a Technical or Trade background.Knowledge of how to replace or recondition shafts, bearings, commutators, and other components.Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.Work ArrangementsThis is a full-time position, Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 4 PM, with some flexibility in work hours and potential overtime based on operational activities.You will be required to work in the field with clients in both land and offshore across Australia.What We Offer
