Automation and Controls Expert

We are seeking a skilled Automation and Controls Engineer to join our team. This role will involve designing and implementing automated solutions for industrial applications.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the design and commissioning of automation and controls systems, as well as proficiency in programming languages such as C# and Python.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automated solutions for industrial applications
  • Develop and maintain PLC code for manufacturing applications
  • Architect and write control software for industrial control panels
  • Implement safety systems for safeguarding robots and other equipment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
  • 2+ years experience in automation and controls engineering
  • Proficiency in C#, .NET, Python, and SQL
  • Experience with PLC programming and HMI/SCADA systems

Preferred skills and experience:

  • Process integration and electromechanical/mechatronic systems experience
  • Experience working with National Instruments software and hardware
  • Electrical schematic CAD experience using EPlan

Additional requirements:

  • Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed
  • Must be willing to obtain required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
