Electrical Maintenance Technician

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team in a leading flour milling operation.

About the Role

The primary responsibility of this critical role is to ensure all plant and machinery operates at peak performance through proactive maintenance and expert fault diagnosis.

This involves maintaining and repairing site plant, equipment and facilities and implementing effective preventative maintenance programs.

Strong technical problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair all site plant, equipment and facilities
  • Implement and ensure effectiveness of preventative maintenance programs
  • Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine faults
  • Coordinate and carry out comprehensive servicing of milling equipment and machinery
  • Participate in planning and execution of engineering projects
  • Maintain compliance with WH&S legislation, regulations and company standards
  • Work flexibly as part of a team, adapting role and duties to operational requirements

Requirements
  • Minimum trade qualification in engineering (Certificate III Electromechanical)
  • Expertise in predictive and preventative engineering programs and best practices
  • Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised with strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience with fault finding and repair of industrial machinery
  • Knowledge of WH&S legislation, regulations and standards
  • Proficient with diagnostic equipment and maintenance tools
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
