**Job Description**

The Head of Employee Experience will lead our recruitment and people services team in Townsville. This key role requires driving human resources initiatives that align with strategic objectives while fostering a positive workplace culture.

The successful candidate will oversee the development and implementation of people-focused strategies, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver exceptional results.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Guide stakeholders on the consistent implementation of HR strategies and practices, ensuring equity and consistency across the organisation.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of People and Culture initiatives as directed by the General Manager.
  • Create and implement a talent strategy, onboarding processes, and utilising effective recruitment methods.
  • Monitor and manage the People and Culture Services budget, providing regular updates to the General Manager.
  • Administer the labour hire contract, including conducting regular meetings and resolving issues with suppliers and contract clients.
  • Oversee the remuneration framework, ensuring proper evaluation and classification of position descriptions while maintaining organisational benchmarks.
  • Ensure the effective development and application of HRIS systems to meet business needs and maintain data accuracy.
  • Contribute to strategic decision-making within the People and Culture section, utilising professional knowledge and business acumen.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

  • Proven experience in a similar role within a diverse organisation, demonstrating leadership in a people-focused environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Law, or a related field.
  • Ability to drive change and resolve complex issues through effective solution design and implementation.
  • Skill in building strong relationships with stakeholders, balancing diverse needs while achieving organisational goals.
  • Demonstrated adaptability to changing demands and priorities.

**Estimated Salary:** AU$80,000 - AU$110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
