We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Executive Chef to join our clients in Charters Towers, Townsville, and Ayr, Queensland. This is a full-time position with a salary of $75,000 - $95,000 per annum depending on experience.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standard of food preparation and quality in a fast-paced kitchen environment. They will manage stock levels, maintain hygiene standards, and work collaboratively with the head chef and other members of the kitchen brigade.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes to meet customer expectations
  • Manage kitchen inventory and ensure efficient use of resources
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
  • Work closely with the head chef to achieve budgeted profit targets
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience in a similar role
  • Appropriate trade qualifications and certifications
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, service-focused kitchen environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure
