About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Driver to join our dynamic team at Canberra Airport.

This is a full-time permanent position, working approximately 38 hours per week. As a Customer Delivery Driver, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service in the aviation industry.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Short distance driving and basic vehicle checks, including refuelling.
  • Safely load and unload trucks and aircraft with catering, carts, and ovens, ensuring discrepancies are followed up.
  • Guide and position the trucks in line with company, airport, and airline policies.
  • Communicate and coordinate with airline cabin crew for aircraft servicing and delivery hand over.
  • Coordinate with dispatch aircraft timings and flight delivery allocations.
  • Administrative documentation, reporting and general cleaning duties as required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A clean MR or HR driver's license.
  • The ability to perform frequent manual handling tasks.
  • A safety first mindset, awareness of surroundings, and proper techniques per training.
  • Flexibility working around flight schedules.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • A neat and tidy presentation.
  • Availability to work 38 hours/week.
