Customer Delivery Driver Role

About the Position:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Customer Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team at Canberra Airport. As a full-time member of our airside crew, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service in the aviation industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading fully stocked aircraft trolleys onto hi-lift trucks and driving them safely to the aircraft.
  • Guiding vehicles for safe approach, loading carts onto the aircraft, and working with airline cabin crew to ensure everything is correct.
  • Removing empty carts and returning to our catering facility.
  • Short distance driving and basic vehicle checks, including re-fueling.
  • Safely loading and unloading trucks and aircraft with catering, carts, and ovens.
  • Coordinating with Airline cabin crew for aircraft servicing and delivery hand over.
  • Administrative documentation, reporting, and general cleaning duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Clean MR or HR driver's license required.
  • Ability to perform frequent manual handling tasks.
  • Safety First Mindset, always be aware of surroundings, practice proper techniques per company standard training.
  • Flexibility working around flight schedules is essential.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Neat and tidy presentation.
  • Availability to work 38 hours/week.
