Customer Delivery Driver Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the role of Customer Delivery Driver at our Canberra Airport location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring the timely and efficient loading and unloading of catering onto aircraft.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Drive a company vehicle to deliver catering to aircraft and ensure timely arrival and departure from designated locations.
  • Load and unload catering from aircraft, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to all relevant safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to airline staff and customers, responding promptly to their needs and concerns.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the team by being flexible, proactive, and willing to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Requirements:
  • A valid MR or HR driver's license is essential for this role.
  • You will need to be physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks as required.
  • Flexibility and availability to work around flight schedules are crucial for this position.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills are necessary to effectively interact with colleagues, customers, and airline staff.
  • A neat and tidy appearance is expected at all times.
  • Ability to work 38 hours per week in a full-time permanent position.
