We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented mechanical designer with expertise in Autodesk Plant3D to join our team.

Job Description
  • Design and Develop 3D Models: Create detailed 3D models of piping, mechanical equipment, and plant layouts in AutoCAD Plant 3D.
  • Create Technical Drawings: Produce 2D general arrangement drawings, 3D isometric assemblies, pipe routing drawings, and fabrication details.
  • Generate Equipment Lists: Create PFDs, P&IDs, and generate equipment, valve, and piping lists.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Engineers: Collaborate with engineers and designers to integrate mechanical systems across disciplines.
  • Support Clash Detection: Support clash detection and layout coordination using detailed 3D models.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with engineering specs and relevant standards (ASME, AS, ISO).
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Advanced Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: 10+ years' experience in mechanical/piping design within mining, industrial, or process sectors.
  • Skills: Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Plant 3D (including P&ID), Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
