Community Housing Specialist
This role involves providing support to Aboriginal communities in the management of their housing.
The position is based in Canberra and requires effective management of assigned tenants according to relevant legislation and organisational values.
Key responsibilities include:
- Liaising with tenants
- Managing properties
- Resolving issues promptly
To be successful, applicants must have a Certificate IV in Social Housing or Property Services, along with experience and knowledge in social housing and property services.
Applicants should also possess strong time-management and multitasking abilities, as well as exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Computer literacy skills in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Outlook, and Excel, are also essential.
Desirable qualifications include Aboriginality and knowledge of relevant policies, practices, and standards.
Additionally, applicants must meet mandatory employment criteria, including vaccinations, working with children checks, criminal record checks, and a full driver's license.
