Geotechnical Consultant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Geotechnical Consultant to join our specialist team.

The Opportunity

You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and interpretation of geotechnical instrumentation used to assess ground conditions, slope stability, and structural performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and oversee the installation of geotechnical instruments in the field (e.g., piezometers, inclinometers, extensometers).
  • Perform regular data collection, validation, and analysis.
  • Interpret monitoring results to assess ground and structural behavior.
  • Generate reports and provide geotechnical input to project teams.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in the field.
  • Collaborate with design, construction, and operations teams to support decision-making.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A Degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering, or similar.
  • Experience gained in geotechnical engineering and instrumentation and monitoring systems is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Personal time management and project management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
  • Flexibility to travel and confidence to work individually when required.
