Our company is seeking a skilled Geotechnical Specialist to join our growing team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Engineering Department to deliver exceptional geotechnical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Geotechnical Manager in managing the delivery of works on all geotechnical activities.
  • Collaborate with the Construction Department and subcontractors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in identifying potential design issues and provide possible contingency solutions.
  • Review design modifications and provide technical advice.
  • Prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
  • Work closely with civil, structural, and electrical engineers to integrate geotechnical solutions into the overall construction project.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide geotechnical insights and recommendations.

The ideal candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications, a degree in Geology or Engineering Geology, and at least 3 years' experience in Transmission Line infrastructure projects or similar large construction projects. They should also have experience in working with tier 1 contractors, understanding construction techniques and methodologies, and managing effective relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
