Payroll Specialist Position Overview

This role involves providing critical payroll support to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee requests, timesheets, and shifts reflected on the rostering system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce precise and timely payroll processing for employees, ensuring all tasks are completed within established timeframes
  • Prioritize tasks and work efficiently to meet deadlines, with a strong focus on attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders through excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
Requirements
  • Sound knowledge of payroll processing principles, 1+ years' experience in a similar role
  • Ability to interpret and apply Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBAs) and other relevant employment legislation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to operate effectively across all areas of the end-to-end payroll function
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service and team collaboration
