Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Restaurant Team Lead to join our team at Zeus Street Greek in Dulwich Hill. This is a full-time, part-time, or casual position with varied shifts available.

In this role, you will be responsible for supervising the opening and closing shift operations of the store, ensuring that all aspects of restaurant operations are executed to a high standard. You will also be expected to supervise and coach team members to deliver an exceptional customer experience, maintain food quality and safety standards, and promote a positive and welcoming atmosphere within the restaurant.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and executing restaurant operations, with a minimum of 1 year of team leader experience preferred. You will be a natural leader who can motivate and inspire your team to achieve excellence, while also being hands-on and willing to take on additional responsibilities when needed.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise the opening and closing shift operations of the store, including management of staff, inventory, and equipment.
  • Lead by example and demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high-quality food standards.
  • Coaching and developing team members to improve their skills and knowledge, and providing feedback and guidance as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators, and provide regular reports to management.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1 year of team leadership experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Proven track record of achieving excellent customer satisfaction and service ratings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, customers, and management.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 kg and stand for long periods, with a flexible approach to working hours.
