Key Role in Clinical Governance

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Clinical Governance & Quality Specialist to play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care across our national and international portfolio.

This key position will involve working closely with quality teams, organisational leaders, and operational managers to assure best practice, continuous quality improvement, patient-centeredness, staff engagement, patient safety, positive patient experiences, and optimal clinical outcomes.

  • Participate in the clinical governance of our national and international portfolio through technical knowledge and systems designs.
  • Provide technical advice and action to ensure full systems functioning and remedying problems as they arise.
  • Respond to adverse events guiding structured investigation and technical analysis for continuous quality improvement models.
  • Provide specialist knowledge in accreditations, national quality assurance standards or regulatory standards.
  • Reduce risks to patients, visitors, and staff in emergency situations.
  • Provide specialist knowledge, advice, and support in key areas such as infection prevention and control, clinical document management, and consumer engagement.

Requirements:

  • Mandatory Qualifications: Qualifications in the specialty field or qualifications in a clinical discipline with extensive healthcare quality experience.
  • Extensive practical experience in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of NSQHSS, EQuIP7 or similar accreditation programs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
