About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and self-motivated Business Support Lead to join our team at Melton City Council. As a key member of our Major Project Delivery team, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of major capital projects, including the Cobblebank Community Services Hub and Plumpton Aquatic Centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support for the successful program and project management of assigned large scale major projects.
  • Assist with the preparation of documents, including letters, memos, and service specifications agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with Council's policies and procedures as they relate to the project management of large scale projects.
  • Maintain and develop project and contract records for reporting purposes and referencing within the team.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A post-secondary qualification in administration, project management, or relevant experience with little relevant work experience, or lesser formal qualifications with relevant work skills.
  • Experience in project and administration support in the delivery of major capital projects in a local government or community services context.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively build relationships with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify and initiate opportunities to develop new processes and procedures to improve the management of projects and engagement of stakeholders.
  • A current valid Victorian driver's licence.
