Project Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a project team in a dynamic sheet metal manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely and budget-friendly project delivery. This includes defining project scopes, setting objectives, and tracking performance, as well as maintaining detailed project plans and reporting on progress.

Key responsibilities include supporting the project manager in preparing estimates and drafts, managing small-scale projects with guidance from senior staff, and liaising with clients and stakeholders throughout project delivery.

Additionally, the role involves assisting in maintaining and updating quality management systems and documentation, supporting internal audits and tracking corrective actions, monitoring quality compliance, and communicating with clients and suppliers on quality matters.

To succeed in this position, you will have prior experience in a similar role within the manufacturing or sheet metal industry, a solid understanding of project coordination and quality systems, proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks, excellent communication, organisational, and multitasking skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a project coordinator or similar role
  • Strong understanding of project coordination principles and quality systems
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and multitasking skills
