Finance Administrator Job

The Finance Administrator role is a key position in our organization, responsible for ensuring the smooth financial operation of various projects. This involves preparing weekly payment run batches, processing site and delivery dockets, purchase orders, and supplier invoices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Data Management: Prepare weekly payment run batches, process site and delivery dockets, purchase orders, and supplier invoices.
  • Budget Allocation: Assist with budget allocation and review spend against procurement strategy.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain financial reports, ensuring accurate recording of actuals in monthly ledgers.
  • Office and Equipment Registers: Manage office and equipment registers.

  • Relevant Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in business/finance and prior experience in a similar role within a construction or project environment.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with financial data entry in online systems (JD Edwards highly regarded).
  • Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (intermediate level).
