Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Minor Works Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, leading your team to achieve business objectives, and fostering a culture that prioritizes safety above all else.
Main Responsibilities:
- You will develop and monitor project scope, schedule, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery and provide timely updates on progress against established work schedules and budget.
- Effective management of project cash flow is crucial; you will approve contractor invoices and collaborate with the accounting department to release invoices to clients.
- You will align, support, and develop lifecycle changeout programs for critical assets, ensuring their optimal performance and efficiency.
- An essential part of your role will involve developing and handing over planned works programs for new assets, ensuring seamless integration into existing infrastructure.
- You will assist in the development of annual programmed works recommendations, oversee the delivery of approved works within a 12-month program, and coordinate with various client departments regarding shutdowns, exclusion zones, and permit-to-work approvals.
- Monitoring and controlling the use of work management processes related to your projects is also a key aspect of this role.
- You will identify the need for outsourcing maintenance work and ensure that external service providers meet our business requirements.
Requirements:
- A proven track record in asset life cycle management is essential.
- While not mandatory, trade or tertiary education in a technical field (such as electrical, mechanical, or engineering) would be highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, confidence, and the ability to professionally engage with senior management, including clients and customers, are vital.
- Proven leadership and people management experience is necessary for success in this role.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including report writing competencies, computer literacy, and the ability to maintain high customer service standards while fostering a positive team environment, are essential.
About the Role:
This position offers a unique opportunity to join our dynamic team and contribute to the success of our organization. We are committed to providing a safe and inclusive work environment that values diversity, equity, and inclusion. If you are a motivated and results-driven individual with a passion for delivering exceptional results, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
