Maintenance Officer Position

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maintenance Officer to join our team to undertake grounds and property maintenance tasks for our valued aged care client in the Sydney area.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform day-to-day gardening duties, including mowing, weeding, leaf blowing, edging, plant care and other general grounds maintenance tasks as required
  • Conduct general (basic) repairs around site and preventative maintenance, including plaster repair, painting, basic plumbing and carpentry, moving furniture, high pressure cleaning, installing and repairing hardware
  • Maintain a clean and tidy site and equipment
  • Identify and report hazards and safety issues
About You:
  • Previous experience in a similar grounds or gardening position is highly regarded
  • Able to work harmoniously in a team environment
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Familiarity with WHS requirements
  • National Criminal History Check which is less than 3 years old
  • Covid 19 Vaccination status
