Strategic Asset Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Asset Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in enhancing asset performance across a large property portfolio.

This is a key analytical position within our investment division, providing strategic insight and commercial support to optimise the performance of our commercial property portfolio. You will assist in budgeting, forecasting, leasing strategy, investment modelling, valuation support, and property development feasibility.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving strategic performance, analysing market trends, and identifying opportunities to increase asset value. You will work closely with our funds and asset management teams to develop and implement effective strategies to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with asset performance forecasting, NOI analysis, and investment return tracking
  • Contribute to leasing strategies, property budgeting, and arrears/performance meetings
  • Support major tenant negotiations, lease finalisation, and strategic asset plans
  • Prepare valuation reports, feasibility models, and commercial assessments
  • Collaborate with legal, leasing, and property teams to optimise centre performance
  • Undertake due diligence and financial modelling on acquisitions, disposals, and redevelopments

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Property Economics, Business, Commerce, or a related discipline
  • 3+ years' experience in asset management, property investment, or development analysis
  • Strong grasp of commercial leasing markets, valuation methodologies, and investment principles
  • Proficiency in Excel, financial modelling, and property-specific tools (e.g., Forbury, Dyna)
  • Commercially astute, detail-oriented, and analytically driven
  • Confident communicator and proactive team contributor
