About the Role

Talent International is seeking a highly skilled SAS Viya Developer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing custom workflows using SAS and Python programming.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop custom workflows using SAS and Python programming
  • Explore potential integration of Python code for SAS workflows
  • Test and debug SAS code
  • Write and optimize SAS programs, macros, and scripts
  • Develop and maintain complex data manipulation and statistical analysis code
  • Utilise SAS procedures for data analysis visualisations and reporting
  • Develop and maintain SAS reports, dashboards, and visualisations
Requirements
  • Experience with SAS Viya platforms, products, architecture and supporting technologies
  • Ability to associate business requirements to technical concepts as relates to SAS applications and user needs
  • Specialist experience in front-end programming frameworks such as Angular or ReactJS
  • Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, scripting languages, open-source programming, REST APIs and cloud computing technologies
Desirable Skills
  • Ability to understand, synthesize, utilize, and integrate prevailing external SAS support technologies with SAS solutions
  • Understanding of SAS Visual Investigator, architecture, and implementation best practice
  • Proficiency in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and data visualisation using SAS
  • Understanding of database management and data warehousing concepts
  • Familiarity with Python for data engineering tasks is advantageous
