Job Description:

The primary role of this position is to work collaboratively with women, providing them with necessary support, guidance, and expert care throughout their pregnancy, labor, and postpartum journey. This involves fostering strong relationships built on trust, empathy, and open communication.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Independently conduct births while maintaining a high level of professionalism and expertise.
  • Provide comprehensive care to newborns and infants, ensuring their health and well-being.
  • Rotate through various clinical areas, including Birthing Unit, Post/Antenatal Ward, Special Care Nursery, and Antenatal Clinic, to gain diverse experience and develop your skills.
Requirements:
  • Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Midwife, registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Effective communication skills that foster compassionate relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
