Job Summary

The role of Associate Director, Research, Evaluation and Economics is a high-level position that oversees the development and implementation of complex strategies and approaches related to evidence generation and dissemination.

This involves leading the application of evidence in key programs, developing and integrating consultancy models for evidence-based products, and providing expert advice to executive directors and stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of the NSW public health system, a proven track record of achievement in evidence-based product development, and strong leadership and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of effective strategies and approaches for evidence generation and dissemination.
  • Apply evidence to inform decision-making in key ACI programs.
  • Develop and integrate consultancy models for evidence-based products.
  • Provide high-level expert advice and support to executive directors and stakeholders.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent in a relevant discipline such as health and social sciences.
  • Significant experience working in a senior Health management position with extensive knowledge of the challenges in the NSW public health system.
  • Demonstrated understanding of evaluation approaches, evidence generation, collation, synthesis, analysis and integration.
  • Proven achievement in the development and production of evidence-based products and relevant processes.
