As a Senior HR Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing human resources policies, programs, and practices that drive business success.
The role requires a strong understanding of HR principles, with expertise in employee relations, recruitment, training, and performance management. You will work closely with senior leaders to provide strategic HR guidance and support the achievement of organizational objectives.
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives;
- Provide HR advice and guidance to senior leaders and managers on employment law, policy, and procedures;
- Lead the design and delivery of HR initiatives, including training and development programs;
- Manage the recruitment process, ensuring effective hiring practices and compliance with company policies and regulations;
- Oversee the administration of benefits, compensation, and payroll systems;
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations;
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement change management strategies;
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date HR data is maintained and reported as required.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in HR leadership roles, preferably in an engineering or construction project environment;
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management or related field;
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, ability to influence and drive change within a matrix organization structure;
- Up-to-date knowledge of labor, social, and employment legislation;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex HR issues and develop effective solutions;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with adaptability and flexibility to meet changing business needs.
