Disability Support Opportunity

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated support workers to join our team on a casual basis.

As a support worker, you will play a vital role in supporting participants with opportunities to reach their individual goals through meaningful activities in our Centres.

This role promotes independence and inclusion in society of people with disability or developmental delay, and supports individuals to have a voice, choice, and exercise control over their own lives.

Essential Criteria:

- Certificate Requirements: Certificate III or IV in Disability Support, Individual Support, Aged Care (or equivalent)

- Commitment to Support: Demonstrated commitment to supporting and promoting individual needs of our participants

- Relationship Building: Ability to develop positive relationships with our participants and support their individual care plans

- Support Experience: Experience in supporting clients with various disabilities and challenging behaviours

- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Roster Flexibility: Flexibility to work on a 24/7 rotating roster

- License Requirements: Current Australian Driver's Licence

- Background Checks: Valid Working With Children Check, NDIS Worker Check, First Aid Certificate & CPR, National Police Check

Desirable Criteria:

- Experience Preference: 2+ years experience in working with people with disabilities and managing challenging behaviors
