Perth, Western Australia National Disability Care Full time

National Disability Care (NDC) is seeking **super casual Disability Support Workers** for a **one-off NDIS Service in Perth, WA** from **1st to 18th June 2025**.

This role involves supporting an NDIS participant attending a national disability sports event. Shifts include **1:1 and 2:1 support**, covering personal care, mobility, meals, and community access. All accommodation is arranged, and support is delivered **on location at Discovery Parks - Perth Airport**.

This is a **short-term, casual job,** perfect for experienced support workers looking to pick up rewarding work in a fun, meaningful environment.

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Assisting with personal care (showering, grooming, toileting)
- Providing mobility and transport support (wheelchair, walking frame)
- Following choking and asthma plans during mealtimes
- Accompanying the participant to events and social outings
- Providing passive overnight support
- Working collaboratively with the NDC team and other casual workers

**Who We're Looking For**:

- Experience in disability or aged care settings
- Confident with personal care, manual handling, and medical routines
- Comfortable working in a team and following set care plans
- **Female workers preferred** for ADL tasks (participant preference)

**Essential Requirements (Must Be Supplied)**:

- 100 Points of ID (e.g., Driver's Licence, Medicare Card, Passport)
- Proof of Car Insurance and Vehicle Registration (if applicable)
- First Aid and CPR Certification
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Working With Children Check
- Certificate: _NDIS Quality, Safety, and You_ Module
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Cert III/IV Disability, Nursing, etc.)

**Experience**:

- Patient hoist: 1 year (preferred)

- Manual Handling (preferred)
