Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Educator to join our team as an Assistant Educator. This is a Full-Time role working 38 hours per week, offering the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our children and contribute to our centre's ongoing success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with the team to plan and deliver high-quality educational experiences that promote children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a clean, safe, and organized learning environment that reflects our centre's values and standards

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An ACECQA-approved Certificate III or Diploma Qualification in Children's Services
  • A strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS, with experience in implementing these frameworks in a childcare setting
  • Proven experience working with children aged 0-5 years, with a focus on promoting their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • A current Working with Children Check and First Aid certificate
