This is a challenging role for an experienced Heavy Equipment Technician to work on a variety of heavy machinery in Sydney.

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team based in western Sydney. As a Field Service Mechanic, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining our fleet of heavy materials handling equipment, including heavy forklifts, reach stackers, cranes, and integrated tool carriers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Schedule and complete regular maintenance tasks to ensure all equipment is functioning efficiently and safely.">
  • Diagnose and repair any faults or breakdowns in a timely manner.">
  • Perform routine inspections and audits to identify potential issues before they become major problems.">
  • Work independently at various sites across Sydney, developing strong relationships with customers and colleagues.">

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • ">
  • A trade qualification in diesel mechanics or light vehicle mechanics.">
  • At least 2 years' experience working on heavy machinery, preferably in a similar industry.">
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.">
  • Familiarity with hydraulic and electrical systems would be highly regarded.">
  • An excellent attitude towards work, strong customer service skills, and a commitment to safety.">
