Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team at the Fassifern Depot. The successful candidate will have transport and heavy vehicle experience and will be responsible for helping keep our modern fleet of Prime movers, earthmoving equipment and all mechanical equipment operational and serviced, maintained and repaired as needed in accordance with requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment
  • Ensure all equipment is safely operated and maintained
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to achieve common goals
  • Contribute to a safe and inclusive work environment

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A diesel mechanic qualification with previous experience in a similar role
  • Strong electrical aptitude
  • Experience working with Heavy Duty Equipment
  • Experience in a heavy industry transport or mining environment
  • A current driver's license
  • The ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
  • The ability to pass an ASIO/Police clearance
  • A positive attitude

Benefits:

Estimated Salary Range:$44.49 - $60 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
