Senior Financial Operations Manager

This is a leadership position where you will oversee financial operations, lead administrative teams, and partner with leadership to enhance systems across accounting, HR, and IT.
ResponsibilitiesFinance & Accounting
- Lead all accounting functions including AP/AR, payroll, monthly close, and reconciliations.
- Evaluate and improve timely invoicing, collections, vendor payments, and compliance with tax requirements.
- Coordinate quarterly and year-end reviews with external tax/accounting partners.
- Develop forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes to inform strategic decision-making.
- Oversee recruiting, onboarding, and HR compliance to support operational departments.
- Manage payroll, benefits administration, and employee relations.
- Partner with managers to maintain proper staffing levels and optimize organizational efficiency.
- Manage and mentor a team of administrative staff.
- Evaluate office coverage, scheduling, and cross-training to ensure smooth operations.
- Establish systems for accuracy, accountability, and continuous process improvement.
- Serve as primary liaison to IT partners for ERP and security systems.
- Enhance systems for tracking, data capture, and process automation across finance, HR, and operations.
- Communicate proactively with managers regarding incomplete or inaccurate information.
- Support operations and sales teams with administrative and financial needs.
- Maintain company values including technical excellence, service, accountability, and results-driven leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
- 8+ years of progressive accounting and financial management experience, including leadership responsibility.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Experience overseeing HR and administrative functions is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to manage, train, and develop teams.
- Proficiency with ERP/accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
