  • Establish a respectful atmosphere for staff, volunteers, and family members by promoting empathy and understanding.
  • Effectively manage staff through individual supervision meetings, skill development, and referrals processes to ensure they are equipped to provide exceptional service.
  • Support daily operations by supervising staff and volunteers, working as a lead when needed, and communicating with the management team and community partners.

As a key member of our team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing direct support to family members, completing referrals, and assisting with de-escalations while upholding organizational policies.
  • Mediating conflicts, addressing concerns, and intervening in crisis situations to maintain a safe and supportive environment.
  • Troubleshooting issues, providing problem-solving, and demonstrating calm leadership in emergency situations.
  • Representing the organization positively in interactions with family members, staff, and community partners.
  • Collaborating with workshop facilitators and volunteers to evaluate programming and gather feedback.

Qualifications: A minimum of two years of experience in the community social services sector in a senior supervisory role or equivalent education, training, and experience. Leadership skills, communication skills, and conflict resolution skills are required.
