Mainframe Developer Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mainframe Developer to join our team.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, test and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, PL/I, JCL and other programming languages.
  • Work with database management systems such as IMS/DB2.
  • Utilize knowledge of CICS and apply it effectively in the role.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of mainframe security principles and protocols.
  • Manage batch processing and job scheduling tasks efficiently.
  • Identify and resolve issues promptly and effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

A strong background in programming languages like COBOL, PL/I, JCL is essential for this role. Additionally, strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug issues quickly are necessary.


Benefits:

This contract offers an initial 6-month period with possible extensions up to 2-3 years.
