Expert Mainframe Programmer

The main responsibility of this role is to develop and maintain applications on the mainframe platform. This includes hands-on experience with COBOL, JCL, and IMS Database.
- Key objectives include:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining applications on the mainframe platform.
- Working closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration of new applications.
- Hands-on experience in COBOL, JCL, and IMS Database.
- PL1 coding skills are a valuable asset.
As a skilled professional in mainframe development, you will be responsible for building robust and efficient applications that meet business needs.
This position requires a high level of expertise in COBOL, JCL, and IMS Database.
A strong background in PL1 programming is also highly desirable.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential qualities for success in this role.
You must have excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience with Agile methodologies and version control systems is highly beneficial.
