Electrical Engineer - Design and Delivery

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a vital role in the design and delivery of electrical infrastructure projects.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in the design and delivery of LV and HV distribution systems, including motor control centres and switchboards. You will also have a good understanding of RPEQ registration and experience working with clients in the mining, oil and gas, water and infrastructure sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver electrical infrastructure projects, including LV and HV distribution systems, motor control centres and switchboards.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
  • Contribute to the development of technical proposals and estimates for clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of project work, including designs, specifications and other relevant documentation.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to the required standard.
Requirements:
  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience/qualifications in Electrical, Instrument and Control or Mechatronics.
  • 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on design and delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of RPEQ registration and experience working with clients in the mining, oil and gas, water and infrastructure sectors.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
