About the Role

This is a site-based leadership position that requires flexibility in working hours and a hands-on approach to project delivery. The successful candidate will oversee the end-to-end delivery of electrical infrastructure works across renewable and power infrastructure projects.

The role involves leading a multi-disciplinary team including engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure effective coordination and execution of work. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed project schedules and budgets, tracking progress against key milestones and performance targets.

A strong relationship with clients and key stakeholders is essential, as the candidate will act as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle. Ensuring adherence to all contractual, quality, safety, and environmental obligations is crucial.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, manage, and deliver construction projects from mobilisation through to completion
  • Lead a multi-disciplinary team to ensure effective coordination and execution of work
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and budgets
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
  • Ensure adherence to all contractual, quality, safety, and environmental obligations
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Trade Qualification with a minimum of 10 years' experience in construction project management
  • Formal Project Management training and proven experience managing multidisciplinary construction projects
  • Demonstrated experience managing financials, reporting, variations, contracts, and commercial risk
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
  • Thorough understanding of safety and quality standards in the construction industry
  • Ability to work under pressure, resolve challenges effectively, and drive team performance
