About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Project Director to lead our projects and programs, leveraging their expertise in construction, engineering, and project management.

This is a Contract role, commencing for 12 months from start date, with a competitive daily rate of $1200-$1300, plus superannuation. The successful candidate will work 8 hours per day, based at our Eveleigh location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leverage your leadership skills to motivate and mentor team members, fostering a customer-focused culture.
  • Direct, lead, and mentor team members, monitoring and reviewing staff performance, and ensuring they have the knowledge, skills, and support to achieve their performance objectives.
  • Lead and manage cross-portfolio teams to deliver projects and programs, with a portfolio value ranging from $10m to $250m+
  • Ensure compliance with the Department's systems, tools, and processes.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary and/or postgraduate qualifications in Construction, Engineering, Project Management, or related fields.
  • A minimum of 15 years' relevant professional experience, preferably gained in a large, complex, and decentralized work environment.
  • Proven experience delivering projects with longer durations (up to 3 years), multiple stakeholders, and potential conflicts.
  • Managing portfolios of projects with individual values under $75M.
