Construction Equipment Sales Professional

CJD Equipment is a leading Australian company specializing in the national distribution of construction equipment and trucks. Established in 1974, we are globally recognized for our commitment to providing working-class solutions sustainably.
We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Equipment Sales Professional to join our dynamic sales team based at our Guildford Branch.
This pivotal role plays a crucial part in driving sales strategies and achieving ambitious targets. With customer satisfaction at the forefront, your approach will ensure a high-quality service is delivered to all customers, current and new.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales and territory plans, maximizing face-to-face interactions with customers and potential clients.
- Achieve sales targets by reviewing market conditions and market shares, reforecasting as required.
- Build strong relationships with key clients, suppliers, internal stakeholders, and industry representatives.
- Oversee the delivery, familiarisation, and handover of new construction equipment to excited new owners.
- Mentor and coach team members and sales cadets to enhance product understanding and promotion.
About You:
- Proven experience in selling and a practical working knowledge of construction equipment.
- Deep understanding of the WA market, with the ability to adapt to its evolving landscape.
- A high level of drive, energy, and autonomy, with a can-do attitude dedicated to delivering excellence.
- Exceptional negotiation skills, capable of striking beneficial deals for both customers and the business.
- A charismatic personality, able to build rapport with customers and colleagues at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to develop long-term relationships based on honesty and integrity.
- A current driver's license and the ability to travel regularly; capability to hold or obtain an MC or HR license is a plus.
