We are seeking an experienced Dining Operations Manager to lead our high-performing Food & Beverage team at Mindil Beach Casino Resort, Darwin's premier hospitality venue.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned hospitality professional to drive business growth, improve profitability, and deliver exceptional guest experiences. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, financial management, leadership and team development, operational excellence, guest services, and strategic objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Manage overall operations of all food and beverage outlets, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Achieve annual budgeted revenue and develop financial strategies for growth.
  • Train and supervise the team, promote a positive working environment, and champion company culture and values.
  • Implement and monitor quality controls, ensure venue presentation and ambience, and manage stock and resources effectively.
  • Foster a culture of guest service excellence and continuously improve the guest experience.
  • Contribute to company strategic goals, review and develop business strategies, and implement performance management for the team.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in hospitality management or relevant discipline, or significant industry experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years leading and developing a multi-faceted food and beverage business, with a strong focus on exceptional customer service.
  • RSA / Liquor Licensee Certificate / Food Safety Qualification - highly regarded.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and hands-on leader.
  • Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to share your vision with the team.
