We are seeking an exceptional Culinary Operations Manager to join our team at Mindil Beach Casino Resort in Darwin, Australia. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple dining outlets, including banquet operations, and ensuring seamless guest experiences.

With a deep passion for modern menu design and a respect for traditional cuisine, you will lead staff management, focusing on training and development in modern culinary trends. You will mentor and empower chefs to reach their highest potential, driving continuous improvement and cost control.

This is a unique opportunity to showcase your culinary innovation and creativity while respecting the resort's five-star standards. You will work closely with our Executive Chef to develop and implement menus that outshine the Darwin market.

A competitive salary of approximately $80,000 AUD per annum reflects the importance of this role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests. In addition to a generous salary, you will enjoy complimentary meals, parking, and discounts on spa treatments, dining, and accommodation.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar position within a comparable operation; casino experience is highly regarded but not essential;
  • a deep passion for modern menu design and a respect for traditional cuisine;
  • previous experience operating within a HACCP accredited environment;
  • familiarity with a wide range of cooking styles and ethnic cuisines;
  • strong computer skills, experience with procurement, costings, scheduling, and proficiency in Microsoft platforms.
