Working as an Environmental Specialist, you will be part of a team that delivers innovative solutions to manage contaminated land.

With a focus on Sydney and regional NSW, you will work closely with colleagues across Australia to provide environmental data acquisition services. This role involves site and field-based work, including measurement and maintenance of equipment for surface water, groundwater, soil, sediment, soil vapour, noise, air quality and meteorology.

As an integral member of our Environment & Health division, you will contribute to the preparation of contaminated land assessment reports and manage large data sources. You will also develop a network with Ramboll specialists across Australia.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about reducing pollution and restoring natural environments. If you have a degree in environmental science or engineering related discipline and 2+ years of experience in contaminated land management or a closely related field, we would love to hear from you.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with our experienced consultants to deliver high-quality results. You will receive mentoring and support from senior staff and have the opportunity to work on complex and interesting projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Site and field-based environmental data acquisition in Sydney, regional NSW and occasionally elsewhere in Australia
  • Measurement, maintenance and calibration of equipment for surface water, groundwater, soil, sediment, soil vapour, noise, air quality and meteorology
  • Contribution to the preparation of contaminated land assessment reports
  • Management of large data sources, including documenting data, recording observations and use of database and digitilisation tools
